And, there are 19 beautiful women, who all want to find true love with Sam...（Even though they are meeting Sam for the first time.）
そして、そのサムと真実の恋をするべく集まった19人の美女たち。実はサムに会うのは今日が初めて。だけどこれがきっと運命の恋とみんな気合十分です。
It's quite strange all women fight for one man. If they can't get a rose end of each day,they go back home and only survivors can stay for the next day. It's like a survival game...But that's the concept for the TV show "The Bachelor".
1日の終わりにローズがもらえない女性は脱落し、ローズがもらえた女性だけが次の日にも残るというまさにサバイバル戦。全ての美女が1人の男性のためにドロドロっと戦う恐怖の様？は…まあ皆さんの想像にお任せするとして…。
There are similar kind of TV show in Japan, like 10 women meet to 10 men and find a right person... I tnink it's more fair and looks easier to find someone special.

日本ならさしずめ“10対10のお見合い番組”っていうとこかしら。男女共に相手を選べる方がよっぽどフェアで運命の相手も見つかりやすい気がするけど。
番組中で、腰を抱くし普通に口にキスをするし（それも同じ日に何人も…）、ビキニでデートしたり、パーティードレスの露出度がすごかったり…。私はドキドキだけど、感覚も国によって様々かな~と思う今日このごろです。
あと違いを感じたことといえば、日本と違って“家事手伝い”“アルバイト”みたいな女性が出演していませんでした。恐らく、共働きが一般的なことと、撮影のために何週間も休める職場環境が整っているというのも大きな要因だと思います。
It is a digression, but the women who wins the show can enter into the entertainment world, as common to Japan.
余談ですが、勝ち残った女性が芸能界入りを果たすのは日本と共通のようですね（笑）
