フランクフルトからちょっと車を走らせてJoy, Frankfurt

フランクフルトのいいところ！ヨーロッパの中央に位置するので車で他の国に比較的行きやすいところ。

One of the good point of Frankfurt what I think is locating rather center of Europe so easy to travel with a car to other country. 

フランクフルトから車で2時間半、国境近くにあるフランスのStrasbourg (独: Straßburg)に行ってきました。フランスの北東部アルザス地方に位置し、木組みの家が伝統的な家です。

I went to Strasboug. It's 2.5 hours driving from Frankfurt, locating near the boader between Germany and France. Black and white timber-framed buildings are traditional houses.

 

ここは戦争等の度にフランス領土になったりドイツ領土になったりした街で 、街中にドイツ語とフランス語が溢れ、店の店員などはドイツ語、フランス語、英語とマルチに話せる人がほとんどです。

This city used to belong to some period Germany and some period France in the past. You can find German und French everywhere here. Most stuffs from shops can speak English, German and Frence.

アルザス地方の郷土料理。ドイツっぽい。

Local traditional food. It looks similar to German dish. 

 

フランス風のピザ。生地は2-3mm程でパリパリ。

French Pizza, Tarte flambée. The teig is just few mm thick and crispy.
